[ggc guide 1] Ansan_Daebu Haesolgil Trail

Glow of Sunset on the Horizon of the West Sea

Beautiful trail extending along the seashore that shines at sunset

Let's go to Daebudo Island on a day when you want to walk endlessly. In this place, which was a real island in the past, but now is part of the land, the sea accompanies you as a silent friend in your promenade. The sea breeze blowing through pine trees washes away the dust from your head: you get to let go of your complicated thoughts and just walk on, keeping your arms and legs moving. There is no summit to climb, and no easy downhill on the winding trail. Waves come and go incessantly, and humans just walk. By the end of the walk, the sun will color the whole sky and disappear. It seems as if it dashes red paint to leave a little more warmth in the world.

Course 1 of Daebu Haesolgil Trail spans about 11.3 kilometers from Daebudo Tourist Information Center through Gubong Mineral Springs, Sunset Observation Deck, Jonghyun Fishing Village to Donjiseoman-gil. After crossing the so-called "Ant Waist" bridge that connects the island with the sea, you reach Sunset Observation Deck. A view in which the Sihwa Tidal Power Station, the chimneys of Yeongheundo Thermal Power Plant, and Songdo International Business District, which are far away, create harmony is excellent even when it is not the sunset hour.

Daebu Haesolgil Trail consists of seven courses covering a total of 74 kilometers. Each course has interesting attractions such as seawalls, salterns, mud flats, and a horse riding experience site.
