Great single-table restaurant, cozy and familiar


Bonnet-gil by Jeongbalsan Park features many small but profitable stores. Led by a workshop filled with adorable items and an antique furniture shop, cozy cafes and restaurants add small excitement to a quiet neighborhood.




Located in front of Bamgasi Park, Yangjimi Kitchen is a single-table restaurant celebrating its 5th anniversary since it opened on Bonnet-gil. The name of the owner is Yang Ji-mi as no surprise. A wide table is situated in the middle of the restaurant and an open kitchen is set up in a boundary-less fashion. This transparent open kitchen gives a natural vibe similar to that of the kitchen at my house, warming up the atmosphere of the restaurant.




Yangjimi Kitchen offers a variety of Italian dishes including bruschetta, pasta, risotto, and steak, all of which possess simple and familiar tastes that most people would enjoy. Five types of bruschetta, which places diverse elements on crisp baguette bread, are good, appetizing dishes. The bruschetta with pear, nuts, and truffle honey, in particular, is a menu often enjoy by the owner himself as the cool pear and sweet honey form a perfect harmony. Whole Squid Black Risotto, which stuffs the inside of a squid with risotto, is also another popular menu.



The exterior of the restaurant is also chic; pink walls and tiles outside make you feel as if you are at a café somewhere in Europe. The terrace stands out more glamorously on a sunny day. Placed on a terrace table, colored dishes look as delicious and flavorful as ever.



Because it is a relatively small space, you may not be able to find a table on a weekend if you do not make a reservation in advance. Reservations can be made via text messages.
