《Handaxe Art 1000》

Jeongok Prehistory Museum Phx Gallery

Overview

2018 is the year that marks the 1000th anniversary of the naming of ‘Gyeonggi’ Province. Handaxe Art 1000 is a special exhibition that Jeongok Prehistory Museum prepared in order to celebrate the anniversary and remind us of its meaning.

Handaxe Art 1000 will deliver a fresh artistic impression to visitors, as it displays the works of Lim Keun-woo, an artist who has been working on his “archaeological weather chart” series that is inspired by the handaxes in Jeonggok, along with the Paleolithic relics that were donated by Lee Woo-hyeong.
