Night in a picturesque white house

Night in a picturesque white house at the foot of Paldalsan Mountain

Entering Good Morning House, you can see two white buildings facing each other with a wide lawn plaza between them. The left one is a two-story building featuring simple and strong straight lines, and the right one is a one-story building presenting beautiful smooth curves. The left building was built in 1967 and used for 47 years as the Gyeonggi governor's official residence. Visitors are impressed by its sophisticated appearance and high completeness that do not fall behind those of the buildings that have been built these days, even allowing for its recent remodeling.

In 2015, this official residence of the Gyeonggi Governor was reborn as a cultural space for residents equipped with a guest house, exhibition spaces, and a cafe. The guest house has five rooms for two people, and the room rate is KRW 50,000 per night. Located at the foot of Paldalsan Mountain, it is several minutes on foot from Hwaseomun Gate and Seojangdae Command Post, and provides hotel-level clean, luxurious bedding and amenities. Offering the best facilities at an affordable price, the guest house is the best choice for tourists.

Good Morning House also welcomes citizens with various performances and events.

On the lawn plaza, Brunch Concert is held on Wednesdays and Fridays, along with a cooking class for mothers and children. Reservations can be made on the website of Good Morning House.

On weekends, the flea market "Mat Picnic" where children participate as sellers is held. On the market day, performances are held at the lawn plaza, and puppet shows and experience classes for children in the café. Good Morning House also rents its spaces to citizens for banquets and weddings.
