▶ Suyoung Park: Hello. This is Suyoung Park, a ‘Culture News Messenger’ that quickly delivers cultural news such as various exhibitions and performances in Gyeonggi-do. Didn't the melody hover in your ears after last week's broadcast?
○ Sungyong Park: The previous broadcast hung all the way home. I'm very excited today. What news did you bring today?
▶ Suyoung Park: These days, many people are tired and are having a hard time. I went there because there is an exhibition where you can feel the warm comfort and comfort of plants. The exhibition 'Deer Plants: Loose Solidarity' at Soda Museum of Art. I will listen to curator Kim Moran in detail.

“It is an exhibition designed so that you can see works from various media on the subject of plants in one place. In particular, in the exhibition, you can see not only paintings and sculptures, but also works using real plants. Just by looking at them, you can feel warm and comfortable. This is an exhibition designed so that you can see in one place what kind of comfort and comfort these plants can give us, not just for ornamental purposes.”
○ Sungyong Park: There are many people around me who are comforted through plants. Just looking at the plants calms my mind, but I am very curious about the exhibition using such plants. But the contents of the exhibition are very good, but the situation is the situation. Would it be okay at this time?
▶ Suyoung Park: Right. So, it is currently closed. This exhibition, which started from the end of last year, was very responsive, so after this closing, it was extended from next Monday to Sunday. As the situation is the situation, the exhibition was finished in a hurry. It's really urgent news, so I think some people don't know it yet.
○ Sungyong Park: Right. The exhibition of “Deer Plants: Loose Solidarity” at Soda Museum of Art, which delivered the extended news until the 12th, is said to be over. Please refer to those who thought to go. Ah~ But, it's so unfortunate to end it like this, but reporter Suyoung Park came to see the exhibition. Do you have any memorable works?
▶ Suyoung Park :I saw a lot of landscapes made from the ornamental plant Tilandsia on SNS, so I went there while looking forward to the work of Yoojung Kim. I liked that work, but I personally remembered a lot of ‘Artist Lee Ja-yeon's Red Touch'.
○ Sungyong Park: For what?
▶ Suyoung Park :In fact, I thought about the green and green comfort because it was a plant, but it has a long, thin red color like a toothpick, but it feels very sharp and strong. I was curious as I thought, ‘What is this work?' I will listen to Han Ji-eun Docent about the work.

“The overall shape of the work was inspired by plants such as bamboo and bamboo shoots among the node plants. When it comes to plants, everyone feels natural and fragile. By the way, the color of this work itself is the same, and the artist itself is very performant. Hanji is piled up one by one, rolled up, and the end is burned, so the artist is healed through his work..."
○ Sungyong Park: When making this work, the artist himself who created the work was comforted through these actions.
▶ Suyoung Park: Right. After listening to this explanation, the work looked a little different. At first I felt intense and aggressive, but later I felt the fragile, anxious weak spot hidden in it. The child and the mother were having a conversation after seeing this work. I will come to hear the story of Eulri student how he felt.

(Child and mother watching the work) Carrots...!
○ Sungyong Park: A carrot? It looks like a long and red look like a carrot. It's good to go to the exhibition with your child and ask your thoughts and talk about this, but listening to them said that it was not easy for them to go to the exhibition with the child because they were full of energy.
▶ Suyoung Park: That's right. However, this Soda Museum of Art has not only indoor spaces but also outdoor spaces, so it is good for children to play. I heard what it was like to the mother of Hyojin Han and Isol who visited with my child.

Hyojin Han Mother: “There is an outdoor space, so children can run around, and it was good.” Lee Sol Mother: “To go to the museum with children, you have to go really far, but there are places like this near the neighborhood so you can easily come and see them together. I think it's healing.”
▶ Suyoung Park: The Soda Museum of Art was located between apartments, so residents could easily find it. The Soda Museum of Art is now the place that has renovated the neglected sauna building that was abandoned in a bloody manner.
○ Sungyong Park: Did you use the existing Jjimjilbang structure as it is?
▶ Suyoung Park: Yes, that's right. I made the most of the jjimjilbang structure and constructed the exhibition space using cargo containers. It is one of the few design and architectural theme exhibition spaces in Korea, and the first private art museum in Hwaseong City.
○ Sungyong Park: It is a very meaningful place.
▶ Suyoung Park: It is one of the fun factors to look for the structure of the Soda Museum of Art's own Jjimjilbang when viewing the exhibition. The outdoor exhibition hall used each jjimjilbang as an exhibition hall, and in the indoor exhibition hall, traces of the bathhouse in the jjimjilbang could be found. I was surprised to hear the explanation from Curator Kim Moran. Shall we listen to it?

“There are cylindrical pillars that can be perceived as a space for a bath and are dug like a well in the exhibition space. You can think of it as an exhibition space using the structures of the actual bath. In the case of outdoor exhibition spaces, we made an exhibition space so that you can look up at the sky by removing things like doors and windows that can be seen consisting of spaces in the form of rooms. And exhibiting.”
○ Sungyong Park: Suyoung Park Reporter It is very fascinating to discover the traces of the bathhouse. If you go to this Soda Museum of Art, it would be a good idea to look for not only the exhibits, but also the traces of the old steam room that remained in the building itself. Listening to the story today, do you want to go someday? When will the next exhibition start?
▶ Suyoung Park: There is news of a new exhibition at the end of April. I'll hear from Curator Kim Moran.
[Interview/Moran Kim Curator]
“We are currently closed. Since April 29th, we are preparing an exhibition with the theme of ‘Complex'. We are preparing such an exhibition where you can examine feelings of anxiety or loneliness as a work of art, communicate with them, and receive comfort. Also, an architectural exhibition called ‘Community Design' is scheduled to open around May 15th. So, if you come after mid-May, you will be able to see both exhibitions in the outdoor space and indoor space.”
○ Sungyong Park: So, on April 29, there is an exhibition with the theme of the complex, and after mid-May, an architectural exhibition called community design is scheduled in an outdoor space, right? Then, if you visit after the end of May or mid-May, you can enjoy not only indoor exhibitions but also outdoor exhibitions in abundance.
▶ Suyoung Park: That's right. Around that time, I, the ‘Culture News Messenger’, could introduce you one more time!
