Gyeonggi Living Culture Center Winter Program Guide



□ Local residents that are “living culture masters” teach the secrets to spending a comfortable winter


The winter program at Gyeonggi Living Culture Center will include the “Neighborhood Master School ” through which masters of living culture, who were selected from the master discovery project, teach various techniques on how to prepare for winter. From ▲, during which participants can create little pouches decorated with traditionally embroidered flowers, to that will offer 8 to 13 year olds and their guardians the chance to make tofu pizza, which is a great dish to showcase at various end-of-the-year gatherings, the program will present great opportunities to learn many skills and knowhow needed in life from the living culture masters of the region.




□ Professional handicraft program planned by Sonsali Workshop , a resident handicraft workshop


Gyeonggi Living Culture Center runs handicraft programs together with Sonsali Workshop, a resident handicraft workshop. Sonsali Workshop programs are constituted of diverse handicraft experiences for all age groups, including ▲, a woodcraft program during which participants of age 10 to 13 can enjoy making their own chairs, ▲, a picture book crafts program through which adults can create and publish picture books by themselves, ▲<“Lucky bag making” for a handful of luck>, and ▲<“Healthy natural skincare product making,” using no hazardous substances>.




□ The Gyeonggi Living Culture Center is being restructured for winter to fit the popular programs


In addition, , and other programs that have been widely loved by citizens of the Gyeonggi Province over the past year are being restructured into an educational curriculum suitable for the wintertime. In particular, is to take place during the winter vacation with special programs prepared for teenagers’ to welcome the new year. From the < Korean boudoir crafts zone> in which participants can design Cheollic hanboks and the , in which a friends can play together after creating a board game with a story, to the where notebooks for the new semester are made by hand, a series of unique hobby activities await visitors to provide them a special opportunity to welcome another New Year.
